Heritage Middle School is located at 405 Union Avenue in New Windsor, NY. Heritage is a 6-8 middle school. Heritage Middle School is divided into three seperate houses. The houses include the Creative Media and Communications House, Law and Forensics House, and The Green Team.
We also offer numerous athletic programs for our students. Some of the teams combine with other schools to create one comprehensive team. You can learn more about our sport programs by clicking on 'Our Progams' above. (Under 'In Our School')

HMS Hosts 6th Annual Saturnelli Science Fair
Students at Heritage Middle School in New Windsor recently participated in the 6th Annual Saturnelli Science Fair on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The annual event was renamed last year in memory of former Newburgh Enlarged City School District Superintendent of Schools.

Once On This Island Jr. - Heritage Middle School - Feb. 17 & 18
Heritage Middle School Presents Once on This Island Jr. The Production will take place on February 17th and 18th at 7:30PM in the HMS Cafetorium. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Once On This Island Jr. is presented through special arrangement with and all authorized performance materials are supplied by Music Theatre International.

Students at HMS Complete Water Study Analysis
Recently, eighty-two students from the Law and Forensics House at Heritage Middle School completed a water study analysis, led by Conservation Education Coordinator Ed Helbig, as part of the Orange County Water Authority’s Groundwater Education Through Water Evaluation and Testing (GET WET!) Program.

Heritage Middle School Choral Concert Rescheduled
The Heritage Middle School Choral Concert originally scheduled for November 30 has been rescheduled for January 11. This concert will now be held in conjunction with The Heritage Middle School Orchestra.

Barnes and Noble Book Fair - November 11th
